Scott Arfield started his first match for Rangers since August 26 on Sunday as they ran riot against Motherwell. And having had an unwanted ringside seat from the dugout in most of the games in between his appearances against Alashkert and the Fir Park outfit, the midfielder had a feeling some team were going to get a hammering.

That the 6-1 victory coincided with Arfield ’s return to the starting line-up made the victory even sweeter for the Canada international and he’s hoping he has done enough to keep his place as Gers visit Brondby in Thursday's Europa League showdown.
