Scots have been urged not to travel on CrossCountry trains on Christmas Eve due to strike action. The rail firm have said that a limited timetable will be in place while some services may be cancelled as a result of industrial action by members of the RMT.
No services are scheduled to take place between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh on December 24. CrossCountry say that a reduced service will also be in place between Edinburgh and Plymouth on the same day.
Customers affected by the strike action will be able to use their December 24 ticket on services available both today and tomorrow. If Scots opt not to travel as a result of the move, then they will be entitled to a full refund.
