Scots theatre group featured in James Corden's US TV show over Guinness World Record

A Dunblane theatre group who last week broke the world record for the fastest ever production topped it off by being mentioned live on a top American talk show hosted by James Corden.

Last week, we told how Rubber Chicken Theatre were celebrating after setting a new Guinness World Record for the fastest ever theatrical production.

A cast and crew of around 200 set the new record in a time of just 9 hours 59 minutes and 3 seconds from opening a mystery script to performing on stage.They took part in the crazy challenge at Stirling’s Macrobert Arts Centre on Sunday, February 20.The group performed the hit sci-fi musical ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’ to a packed auditorium, after just less than 10 hours of rehearsals.To top the achievement off, the Gavin and Stacey actor, who now hosts The Late Late Show on American TV channel CBS, gave the production a mention in recognition of the achievement.On the episode, that aired last Thursday in the US, Corden said: “Did everybody hear about this?
