A schoolboy who was seriously injured when a lamppost collapsed on him has been awarded a four-figure compensation payout.The boy – aged 10 at the time of the accident – was out for a meal with his family when disaster struck.He was chasing his sister outside the Home Farm View pub and restaurant in Kirkcaldy on Mother’s Day last year when the lamppost snapped and collapsed on his leg.The victim’s father said: “There were lampposts just outside the restaurant.
