rapist who threatened to "snap" his pregnant partner's neck has been ordered to stay away from her for three years. Terrified Gemma Mooney feared for her life after thug Richard Wotherspoon warned he would "take a murder charge" for her.
Brute Wotherspoon, 30, admitted assaulting Ms Mooney at their flat in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, on January 28. He was only 16 when he was locked up for four years in 2006 for the rape of a supermarket worker.In the latest case Hamilton Sheriff Court heard he tried to strike Ms Mooney then grabbed her and held her arms behind her back.Michael Macintosh, prosecuting, said: "She ran out to the verandah in fear of what the accused might do and he locked her out there."The complainer remained there for ten.
