Hospitality workers have gathered outside Scottish pub group MacMerry's flagship central London bar to protest ongoing issues with pay, pensions and the treatment of staff.
Bartenders and representatives from trade union Unite are picketing the Abandon Ship London bar in Covent Garden as part of an ongoing protest against MacMerry's alleged mistreatment of staff.
MacMerry - which operates the Abandon Ship bars in Glasgow, Dundee and London as well as other theme bars and cafes like Draffens and Gracie's - have been in a union-led dispute with staff since January.
A Daily Record investigation revealed that staff were told to ignore positive lateral flow tests to come to work and to downplay a litany of health and safety breaches.
