A Scots pensioner was found dead on a Glasgow-bound bus after falling off his seat in front of horrified passengers. Eyewitnesses believed the man was sleeping on board the Citylink service from Edinburgh before he fell from his seat at a roundabout.Horrified passengers then discovered the man was dead and alerted the driver.

An eyewitness said: "The guy fell off his seat at a roundabout and that's when people realised something was wrong as they thought he had just been sleeping" Mercy crews were called to the scene at the Swinton Roundabout in Baillieston, in the east end of the city, on Monday afternoon.

A 69-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.Police Scotland are not treating the death as suspicious. A spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of a 69-year-old man having taken unwell on a bus at the Swinton Roundabout, Baillieston, Glasgow, around 4.45pm on Monday, 17 October, 2022.“Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
