Scots fearing they would be stranded offshore have been told they'll get home to their loved ones for Christmas - after the Daily Record stepped in.
Hundreds of workers employed in the North Sea near Denmark were worried they would have to spend the full festive period on the rigs.
One told us French firm TotalEnergies had cancelled scheduled flights due to bad weather and had refused to organise replacement transport.
We told earlier this week how staff had threatened to stage protests if the situation was not resolved. But after the Record raised the issue, the company confirmed arrangements were being made to get the affected Scots home.
