Scots mum's 'heart torn into pieces' after son dies in horror crash

The mother of a young biker who died in a crash in Fife has said her "heart has been torn into pieces". Biker Jamie Murdoch, 29, died after his motorcycle collided with a car on the Q67, near Kingsettle, at around 4.35pm on Monday.Mercy crews sped to the scene but the biker, from Methil, was tragically pronounced dead.

The 51-year-old female driver of the VW Golf that was also involved in the crash was not hurt in the incident. It's understood Jamie was employed by Amazon and was travelling home from work when the accident happened.

His mum Sharon Young says she will "never get over his death".Sharon wrote: "My heart has been ripped out my chest and torn into pieces.

I never thought I would ever feel pain like this. My youngest son Jamie was in a serious accident on his way home from work last night he died at the scene." She added: "I love you more than words can say, I will never get over this."Jamie's partner Kerry Sneddon said: "Today was the hardest part of my life.
