Scots mum 'haunted' by teen daughter's death begs drivers not to speed

Jane passed away alongside driver, 21-year-old Graham Mathie, following the smash on the B7078 in Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.

Almost eight years on, Beth, 43, is fronting a new campaign from Road Safety Scotland, 'Speed'.Still haunted by 'kind-hearted' Beth's death, caused by speeding, Beth is determined to speak out about the dangers of driving too fast.The estate agent, who lives in Lanark, South Lanarkshire told the Record: "I think speeding is such a huge problem everywhere."I am living proof of what happens to a family when you speed in a car."Trust me.
