A heartbroken mum has demanded answers over who ransacked her daughter’s home and took cash from her bank account before she was found dead.

The body of 22-year-old Tianna Charite was found by big brother Brandan after he went to her flat in Cupar, Fife, as the family had been unable to contact her for days.A young man who had been sleeping on a mattress in her living-room, Keiran Nelson, 23, was also dead on the floor of that room.

The deaths were ruled as non-suspicious by Police Scotland and put down to drug overdoses. But Tianna’s mum, Ashley Charite, is now urging police to reopen their investigation after discovering a series of suspicious events around the time of Tianna’s death on May 16.Ashley said Tianna’s flat had been ransacked and all her jewellery was gone, including a silver locket that contained the ashes and a photo of her premature daughter.

Wooden boards on her bed and sofa had been ripped off, indicating someone had been trying to find something in the house. There was also unexplained activity around Tianna’s bank account about the time that police believe she died.
