A Scots mum couldn't believe her eyes when she managed to capture a picture of the SpaceX rocket after it was launched in the US.
Astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley are currently on their way to the International Space Station aboard a Falcon 9 rocket after the mission was given the green light.
It was the second time NASA and SpaceX attempted the historic launch after their first was postponed due to bad weather last Wednesday.
Excited Scots looked skywards the hour after liftoff at 8.22pm UK time to catch a glimpse of the rocket.And Heidi Strickland managed to capture what appears to be the spacecraft in the skies above her home in Douglas, Lanarkshire.In the images, you can see a tiny white spec with trails of smoke coming out
