A Scots politician who has been self-isolating with coronavirus symptoms has shared an incredible hack to make a face mask at home using a vacuum cleaner bag.
Gillian Martin, who is MSP for Aberdeenshire East, has been in lockdown at home for 12 days with a high fever and wanted to find a way to protect herself and others when she finally ventures outside.
She was worried about social distancing while out walking her dog in her village where she often bumps into constituents - so she decided to do some research into home-made masks.
