Scots motorcyclist who died in crash with lorry near Loch Lomond named

A Scots motorcyclist who tragically died in a crash near Loch Lomond has been named by police. Phillip Alan Buchan, known as Phil, died in the crash on the A82 between Tarbet and Inveruglas.

The 31-year-old, from Clydebank, was on a motorcycle which collided with a lorry at around 4.15pm on Wednesday April 20. Emergency services raced to the scene after the alarm was raised and the road was quickly closed to traffic.

Police ask anyone with information to come forward. Sergeant Hugh Niccolls, from Dumbarton Road Policing Unit, said: “At this time, our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the deceased. “I’d like to thank the public who stopped at the scene and have provided statements to officers.
