Scots granny age 34 gets mistaken for grandson's mum

mum who became a gran at 34 says she gets mistaken for being her grandson's mother Rosie Morant, from Edinburgh, says she hates being called 'granny', even though she was delighted to welcome baby grandson Rox in November last year.

Rosie's eldest child, Morgan, now 19, fell pregnant at the start of 2020, leaving the now-35-year-old shocked. Mum-of-two Rosie says because she was a teen mum, giving birth at the age of 16, she always knew there was a chance she could become a young gran - but even she was surprised to be a grandparent at 34.

She said: "I had mixed emotions when I found out I was going to become a gran at such a young age."I knew I would always be younger than most grandparents but I didn't think it would happen so.
