Scots girl, 15, missing overnight after failing to return home from school as worried mum issues desperate plea

A teen has been reported missing after not returning home from school, with her mum issuing a desperate appeal on social media.

Hannah Snodgrass, 15, left her home in Bridge Of Weir, Renfrewshire, at around 12.30pm on Wednesday, August 24. The schoolgirl hasn't been heard from since and there are growing concerns for her welfare from both her family and the police.

The force have issued an appeal online in a bid to trace her.And Hannah's mum has taken to social media to make a frantic plea for news on her daughter's whereabouts.

Taking to Twitter, she revealed Hannah often frequents Johnstone, Bridge of Weir, Lochwinnoch and Kilbirnie.Posting as @Kirst22c, she wrote: "My daughter hasn't returned from school.
