nuclear bomber plane - because he doesn't have room for it. Iain Aitkenhead is punting the Buccaneer XW 530 which has stood guard outside his petrol station and supermarket near Elgin, Moray since 1996.
But with Iain now retired and having sold the business, he is looking for someone else to take on the plane with an asking price of just £28,000- around the price of a new Audi A3.
He has listed the plane on GumTree for anyone interested.First introduced in 1962, the bomber was used by the RAF, Royal Navy and South African Air Force, before being retired in 1994.Iain bought the plane in 1996 as it was due to be scrapped and set it up as a draw for his Buccaneer Service Station. He said he 'can't for the life of him' remember how much he paid.
