Scottish football fans put on a huge smoke bomb display which turned the sky orange during a non-league friendly match - leading to the game being dubbed the "craziest" fixture of its kind in the world.Junior football side Irvine Victoria - known as Irvine Vics - faced off against town rivals Irvine Meadow in Ayrshire last night.
And within seconds of kick off, plumes of orange smoke consumed the away terraces.The pyro display took place despite a warning from the club for fans to behave - and not take any smoke bombs.
On Friday afternoon, the committee raised the issue on the club's Facebook account ahead of the derby clash.The post said: "Tonight's fixture will have security present to search on entry.
Do not bring any fireworks, flares, smoke bombs or equivalent to the ground."But the Vics-daft supporters ignored the warning.
