A driver changing a tyre '400 metres from safety' is alleged to have caused a school bus to crash on a busy Scots road. Emergency services raced to the A92 near the Lochgelly interchange after the alarm was raised at around 12.20pm on Wednesday December 8.
The man had stopped to change a tyre in a live lane on the road, 400 metres from the slip road.As he was repairing his van, it is believed a school bus swerved to avoid him before crashing into another vehicle.Pictures taken from the scene show the man continuing to carry out his repairs while the bus sits smashed in the middle of the road.Debris from the crash can be seen scattered over the second lane.A further picture, posted on the local Facebook page Fife Jammer Locations, shows
