Warning Graphic Images- A dog owner watched on as his beloved pet was involved in a horrific attack involving two other dogs.
The owner, called John, was walking 14-month-old Poppet, a Biewer Terrier, when she was ripped apart at the Braes in Castlemilk on Wednesday, July 10.Before the attack John noticed a dark shadow moving nearby.
Suddenly, a pair of Patterdale Terriers gripped onto either end of the 3.5kg pup before sprinting away to Ardencraig Road, causing havoc on the streets.
Good Samaritans manageed to pry the dogs away from Poppet as her owner rushed her to safety. The pup was left with horrific bruising all over her body and a number of puncture wounds.John told Glasgow Live: "I was up the Braes where we usually go and she was off the leash.
