Scots dog attack horror as man rushed to hospital with serious injuries after incident near primary school

A man was reportedly rushed to hospital earlier today after being attacked by a dog in Midlothian.The horror incident is believed to have happened next to Stobhill Primary School on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge at around 11.45am on Monday.Locals reported a heavy police presence in the area, as well as paramedics from the Scottish Ambulance Service being in attendance.

It's believed the man was taken to the hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained during the alleged attack.Police say that a 38-year-old male has been charged in connection with the incident.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.45am on Monday, 29 April, 2024, officers received a report of a man having been injured by a dog on Hillside Crescent North, Gorebridge."The man was taken to hospital for treatment.“A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.” Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - Sign up to our daily newsletter here.
