Scots creep showed up at woman’s home and sent flowers to her dad’s work

A creepy Renfrew man who sent unwanted flowers and a letter to a woman has narrowly avoided a jail sentence. Jimmy Williamson found out the address of a female he met at a sports club and sent her a handwritten letter before unexpectedly turning up at her home address.The 30-year-old also delivered flowers at the woman’s father’s work, asking an employee to make sure she received them, before turning up at her home uninvited.And after Williamson, of Renfield Street in Renfrew, was arrested for causing the woman “fear or alarm” he again turned up at her house in the hours of darkness and left her another bouquet of flowers on her car.

The procurator fiscal depute told Paisley Sheriff Court creepy Williamson attended the same kick-boxing class as the woman and that’s how they knew each other.

The town’s court yesterday heard: “On September 25 last year, the woman received a handwritten letter from the accused.
