A Scots couple say they were left ' battered and bruied' after they were 'knocked off' their motorbike at a roundabout. The incident happened at the roundabout on Bogwood Road in the Mayfield area of Edinburgh on Friday, September 24.
Emergency services quickly scrambled to the scene but before they arrived members of the public, including a nurse, raced to their aid, reports Edinburgh Live.Charlene Ellison, 42, and her partner Andrew Forest, 53, say they were left on the tarmac after a car pulled out in front of them on the road.Charlene said: "We were going around the roundabout and were thrown off when a car pulled straight out.
It was just us on the road, and the motorbike is quite noisy but they didn't see us, I went flying off and my partner hit his head off the car bonnet."We are both battered and bruised and have a bit of tissue damage, but it could have been worse, especially since Andrew hit his head. She added: "The driver stopped, and was really apologetic.
Then all of a sudden members of the public came to help, a nurse just so happened to be there and she knew exactly what to do while we waited for the ambulance.
