Police have issued a fresh appeal for information on a Lanarkshire youngster who remains missing a week after disappearing with an accomplice.

Kullin Lawson, 15, was last seen with John-Paul Cruden, 14, on Tuesday March 8 in the Airdrie Road area of Plains, just outside the North Lanarkshire town of Airdrie.

Police Scotland says that John-Paul was traced earlier today following an extensive missing persons appeal. However, they remain concerned about Kullin's welfare and have been unable to trace the teen to date.

Officers believe the 15-year-old may have initially travelled to Aberdeen after going missing but could now be in the vicinity of Motherwell.
