Police have been called to McDonald’s restaurants around Scotland after the fast food giant reopened selective drive-thrus across the country today.Hungry Big Mac fans waited for hours in queues before stores opened to get their hands on a takeaway for the first time since coronavirus lockdown began 10 weeks ago.Traffic chaos has seen lines of cars stretching back from stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Fife.Edinburgh’s Newbridge branch had to limit the number of cars not long after opening as staff hold up a 'closed' sign to customers in order to not create a build up of traffic to the car park.Staff at the Edinburgh branch could be seen standing with a police officer.
