Bosses at a charity ravaged by fire are "truly humbled" after smashing their fundraising target for repairs by several thousand pounds.
Last week the Record reported how The Yard in Edinburgh suffered £40,000 of damage after firebugs torched its boardwalk play area - donated by BBC show DIY SOS as part of a Children In Need special in 2012.
In the aftermath of the blaze, The Yard - which provides play facilities targeted at children with additional support needs - launched a crowdfunder on JustGiving to recoup some of the costs, with a target of £7,000.
