Scots bride giving wedding dress away in desperate closure bid after mum suddenly dies

A Scots bride is giving away her wedding dress after her mum suddenly died. Devastated Kaye Prince from Irvine was left in shock when her 'perfectly healthy' mum died just before her big day.

Katie Bowman, who was full of life, went to bed after helping organise wedding plans that were less than ten weeks away. But tragically she never woke up leaving Kaye heartbroken that her mum wouldn't be attending the ceremony.

The grief-stricken 50-year-old was left broken but continued to plan the wedding as it was what her mum 'would have wanted'.

Now she is making the incredible gesture of giving away the stunning sentimental gown, that her mother picked out, in a desperate bid to get some closure.
