Scotland to be hotter than Barcelona this week at 19C as warm March spell continues

Scotland's spell of sunny weather will continue into this week as temperatures are set to be hotter than Barcelona in some areas.

After temps hit a scorching 20.2C in Kinlochewe over the weekend, forecasters are predicting another blast of good weather this week.The Met Office say the hottest day this week is likely to be Tuesday.It's possible the warmer than average weather could reach 17C to 18C across Scotland and possibly up to 19C on Wednesday in Aberdeen.

Some areas will surpass temps in Barcelona, which will experience 14C on Tuesday according to weather.com.Conditions will also be slightly colder in Madrid (13C) and Monaco (15C).
