Scotland's king of fakes facing jail after flogging Rolex and Louis Vuitton

A fake Rolex salesman is facing jail. Conroy Lindsay, 37, sold watches, wall clocks, aftershave, footwear, clothing and bags for nearly two years from bases in Bonnybridge and Falkirk, both Stirlingshire, with bogus trademarks.

He has engaged with the entire process - he hasn't sought to run away.Sheriff Christopher Shead deferred sentence until June 23rd for reports.The Crown will narrate the full facts of the case at that time.Sheriff Shead warned Lindsay that custody was the "likeliest disposal".He said that "with some hesitation" he would continue bail in the meantime "if it's only to allow him to put his affairs in order".The court was told that Lindsay also faces action under the Proceeds of Crime Act to recover financial gains he made by the bogus goods scheme.
