A man has been jailed after officers discovered large amounts of class A and B drugs following 'intelligence-led' raids across Aberdeen.
Anthony Newman, 31, was convicted at the High Court in Edinburgh after officers found cocaine at a flat and cannabis at two further properties in the city in January this year.
Officers seized cocaine valued at around £124,000 from a property on Palmerston Road. A further £6,500 worth of cannabis was found after searches at two addresses on Jasmine Terrace and Short Loanings.
Newman was arrested on Friday June 10, and today was sentenced to four years in prison following his conviction. Police Scotland have thanked the public for the 'essential' role they played in assisting authorities with their investigations.
