The devastated father of a schoolgirl who woke up one day with a belly ache spoke out about how his "bubbly little girl" tragically died just three weeks later.

John Woods' daughter Carly was aged just 11 when she passed away on November 1 in hospital. John, 37, lives in Skelmersdale with his partner and Carly's mum, Kelly, and their children, Liverpool Echo reports.
