Schoolboy missing from home for four days 'believed to be in Manchester'

People are being urged to look out for a missing teenage boy who is believed to be in Manchester. Vladimir was last seen in the Parkgate area of Rotherham, South Yorkshire, at 10.30am on Monday (March 11).

But in an urgent appeal issued this morning (March 15), Greater Manchester Police says the 15-year-old is now believed to be on this side of the Pennines and 'within the Manchester area'.

His surname has not been given by the force. Vladimir is described as being 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. He has short, brown hair and a moustache. He is also believed to be wearing black Nike joggers, black Nike trainers and a black Nike rucksack. Vladimir was also last seen wearing a rolled-up black balaclava around his head as a beanie hat.
