A 16-year-old schoolboy who ran a HGV off the road whilst weaving in and out of the traffic in a BMW has been jailed. Cristian Pompa, who is now 18, fled from the carnage which he caused in another BMW he was in convoy with.
But the underage driver was arrested after his DNA was found on the blown airbag of his abandoned car. The boy’s car the crashed into the front offside of a Volvo heavy goods vehicle, meaning the lorry driver had to be cut free from the wreckage of his cab.
