A nine-year-old schoolboy is still smiling and is keen to get back to dancing despite having part of his leg amputated in a horror crash in front of his family.

Max Clark was struck by a motorbike in a suspected hit and run after venturing to a park with his family for the first time since lockdown on Bank Holiday Monday.

The keen gymnast and dancer was stuck by a motorbike at Rosemead Park in Hull and needed surgery to save his life. Mum Kirsty told Hull Live he is "still our little Max" and "it could have been worse".
