A school in south Manchester is celebrating its recent "Outstanding" Ofsted rating. St. Kentigern’s, in Fallowfield, has received a glowing report which says pupils at the school "epitomise the school’s aims and values.

They are happy, confident, caring, knowledgeable and resilient.” The school, which is part of the Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust, has retained its previous rating from the previous inspection in 2017 and has a history of results which are above the national average, and far above the local average.
