This is the scene in Bury after a three-year-old died following a collision with a tractor. The boy was hit by the vehicle on a farm this afternoon.
His family desperately tried to rush him to hospital, and flagged down a passing ambulance on their way. Sadly he was pronounced dead before he could arrive for further treatment.
A police officer is standing guard at the scene off Bentley Hall Road, while police work with officers from the Health and Safety Executive to investigate how the child died.
