A worried mum who lives close to where a burning body was found in Motherwell says she plans to leave amid fears of a rise in violent crime.
Police were called to football pitches in the town after a dog walker discovered a burned body of a man on Saturday morning.
Officers say the death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.The horror scene was just yards from a quiet housing estate in the Margaret Drive area.A mum-of-two, who spoke anonymously, told how she would be looking for a new home after a rise in violence in the area.She claimed both of her children had been targeted by criminals in the last year.She said: "We are very worried.
