After teasing fans with quick glimpses over the past several months, Focus Features today revealed the full official trailer for Downton Abbey: A New Era. The follow-up to 2019’s feature adaptation of the beloved TV series appears to have two major plot strands, one involving a mystery and the other a movie; there’s also a wedding afoot. Saved By The Bell will pay homage to former cast mate Dustin Diamond, who died in February.The actor played the high schooler for the original show’s four seasons until 1993, and then went on to star in spin-offs The College Years and The New Class.He passed away three weeks after being diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.“He was diagnosed with this brutal, relentless form of malignant cancer only three weeks ago,” Diamond’s agent Roger Paul said in a statement to Rolling Stone at the time.“In that time, it managed to spread rapidly throughout his system; the only mercy it exhibited was its sharp and swift execution. Dustin did not suffer.

Honoring his memory. Although Dustin Diamond wasn’t in season 1 of Peacock’s Saved by the Bell revival, there were plans to have him pop up in season 2. However, the actor died after battling lung cancer in February. He was 44.
