Star's mum, Frankie Smith, has been sentenced to eight years in prison for causing or allowing the death of a child. Toddler Star died after suffering catastrophic injuries when she was beaten lifeless by Brockhill, 28, who was convicted of the toddler's murder yesterday (Tuesday).
Star's mum Smith, 20, was cleared of murder and manslaughter but was convicted by a jury at Bradford Crown Court of causing or allowing the death of a child.
