Nat Geo’s new limited series “A Small Light” isn’t Anne’s story, though the precocious teen’s legacy is embedded throughout. The brainchild of former “Grey’s Anatomy” showrunners Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, the series is a tale of resistance, activism and humanity. The narrative centers on one tenacious young woman, Miep Gies, Otto Frank’s secretary, who risked everything to save the Frank family, and countless others. Beautifully shot by Phelan, Susanna Fogel and Leslie Hope, with a slight sepia tone to ground the audience in the time period, the series opens on July 6, 1942, when the Frank family goes into hiding. Miep (Bel Powley) is tasked with getting Otto’s (Liev Schreiber) eldest daughter Margot (Ashley Brooke) through a Nazi checkpoint and into the secret annex above the office building where Miep and Otto work. Quick thinking and determined, Miep ushers the teen to safety via bicycle past the gun-toting and cruel German soldiers. It’s the first of many risks she takes to combat the racist, authoritarian regime.

Beyoncé has filed a petition challenging a claim made by the US federal tax office that she owes $2.7million (£2.1million) in unpaid tax and penalties.The filing argues that several errors were made in the determinations of the singer’s 2018 and 2019 tax returns.According to the petition addressed to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), which was seen by Forbes, Beyoncé owes $805,850 (£640,811.92) in additional tax for 2018, along with $161,170 (£128,162.38) in penalties. She also allegedly owes $1,442,747 (£912,311.02) in 2019, as well as $288,549.40 (£229454.48) in penalties.However, Beyoncé has argued that the IRS overlooked millions of dollars in charitable donations she made during those two years, including an $868,766 (£690,842.72) contribution to an undisclosed charity in 2018.

Tyler, The Creator performed three new songs from the deluxe version of his sixth album ‘Call Me If You Get Lost‘ at a pop-up show in Los Angeles.The rapper took to Twitter to announce that he would perform on April 26 at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. The intimate show which he said would be “just me and a mic nothing special” instantly sold out.The show’s set included the live debut of ‘Dogtooth’ and ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ from the new deluxe version of the record, titled ‘Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale’ – featuring tracks that originally didn’t make the cut of the record.

A shocked Ant said: "My [clapperboard] has broken! It just fell apart in the heat." Dec and Nicole burst out laughing as Ant added: "It's alright I can use [the top half] it's fine!" Saturday Night Takeaway star Stephen Mulhern has been celebrating his birthday with showbiz pals Ant and Dec in Florida.The TV star is currently across the Atlantic at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, filming Saturday Night Takeaway's highly-anticipated finale. During his trip abroad, he celebrated his 46th birthday on Tuesday, shocking fans with his age as they believed he was much younger than that. Writing on Twitter on Tuesday night, Stephen said: "Thanks so much for your birthday messages everyone! "I’m running around a theme park and wearing my gold jacket to celebrate! Sending lots of love x." Friends and fans soon commented on the tweet, wishing the presenter a happy birthday.

Ant and Dec were left in hysterics on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Takeaway, just minutes into the show, when one of the usual segments hilariously had to be cut short by a guest’s blunder. During the weekly Ring My Bell segment, where viewers are asked to identify their homes from video doorbell views, it soon ended in "chaos".  When a member of the audience identifies their home, they need to stand up and shout “Ding Dong, That’s My Doorbell” to be eligible to win a prize.

Sarah Ferguson has revealed her unexpected and surprise link to songstress Fergie, who boasts the same nickname as the Royal. While songstress Fergie isn’t related to Royal Fergie, despite the pair having the same surname, they have crossed paths before. As well as being one quarter of Black Eyed Peas, Fergie’s also released solo music over the years and titled her 2006 album 'The Dutchess'.

Saturday Night Takeaway co-host Jordan North has had his fair share of mishaps during his live segment on the Saturday night gameshow. Whilst coming live from Birmingham during his Takeaway Truck segment, Jordan had previously told viewers he was going to have a carvery before his segment, however when his time came to present, Jordan could barely get his words out – as he was too busy choking on a pea.
