Despite serving up mouth-watering toasties on October 26, attention was unfairly diverted by some viewers to Kate's fashion choices.The entrepreneur and mother-of-two was unjustly criticised for wearing an outfit deemed "too inappropriate" for television, despite it being a modest brown strapless top teamed with denim jeans.
In an interview, Kate managed to maintain a sense of humour about the situation, saying: "If you know me in real life or look at our social media page, I literally wear a strapless top all the time as I live by the beach." Kate brushed off the overreaction to her top with a laugh, stating: "It's not like I wore a thong and nipple tassels - but that's how everyone is reacting." She expected the focus to be on their scrumptious menu, not her arms, she added: "I thought I was going on TV to show off our toasties - I didn't even think about my arms being on show!
