Former soldier Melvyn Downes says he can’t wait for SAS: Who Dares Wins fans to see him in action on the show as he hopes to pull in a bigger audience than the show has had before.
The 55-year-old served for more than 20 years in the Armed Forces – 12 of which involved carrying out missions for the SAS. Melvyn says he will be bringing his decades of experience to put recruits through their paces on the Channel 4 show – and he will be representing people of colour and the working class in the process.
