The comic was joined by a female friend for the tribute to those on the frontlines in the state which has more coronavirus cases than any country around the world.
The US also has the world’s highest death toll from the virus, with 19,651 dead. At the time of writing, here were 1,790,564 cases of corona worldwide.
Sarah was photographed banging a saucepan with a wooden spoon and smiling as she showed her support for staff on the frontline.
