Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Here’s a rendition of Elton John’s “Rocket Man” you won’t have heard before. Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act Sara James, 14, belted out a slowed-down version of the hit 1972 track on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent”, showing off her killer vocals as she performed in front of a fiery background.

After the performance, Cowell called James’ song choice “absolute genius.” “I am actually very emotional for you right now, because I know how much this means to you,” he admitted.
