If you don’t know, The Blind Side is the 2009 film about a wealthy white family, the Tuohy family, who allegedly adopted real life future NFL player Michael Oher out of poverty.
In the film version of the story, Sandra played the matriarch of the family, Leigh Anne Tuohy, and won an Oscar for her performance.
In a new court case filed this week, the real life Michael Oher alleged that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy never actually adopted him, instead tricking him into giving up his authority to make business deals by making them his conservators at age 18.
