Sam Thompson appeared to throw a jab at his ex Zara McDermott in new comments. It comes as Zara has been spotted on a romantic date with One Direction heartthrob Louis Tomlinson.The Strictly Come Dancing star and the boy band icon have turned heads, with new snaps surfacing of their intimate dinner date at a luxury hotel.The duo were seen indulging in posh fish and chips and cocktails, in pictures obtained by The Sun.

A source told the publication: "Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special.They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families." The source also revealed that Zara and Louis "looked every bit the happy couple" while dining in style at The Suffolk, known for room rates that can soar above £300 per night.

The pair's date comes amid swirling rumours of a romance following Zara's shock split from Sam earlier this year after five years together.
