Sam Smith & Partner Christian Cowan Match In Black Tanks While Out in NYC Before 'Barbie' Track Arrives

The 31-year-old “Unholy” chart-topper and their boyfriend were spotted on Thursday (July 20) in New York City. They matched in black tank tops. Christian paired his with a pair of leopard print shorts and brown sneakers. Sam opted for black shorts and a pair of tan boots.
Their outing comes just a few hours before the hitmaker is set to unveil their song “Man I Am,” which landed on the Barbie soundtrack. Keep reading to find out more… Sam was revealed to be the final mystery artist on the soundtrack, which also features new music from the likes of Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Billie Eilish and Charli XCX. “Man I Am” was written “from the perspective of Ken” and arrives alongside the rest of the album on Friday.
After their involvement with the soundtrack was confirmed, Sam was one of several A-list stars at the movie’s London premiere earlier this month.
