Sam Heughan spotted in popular Glasgow restaurant as Outlander star enjoys Sunday lunch

Sam Heughan was spotted at one of Glasgow's most popular restaurants as he enjoyed a chilled Sunday lunch. The Outlander star was spotted enjoying a glass of fizz at Crabshakk Botanics this afternoon in between work commitments.

The Vinicombe Street eatery, which opened in April, is run by the same people who own one of the west end's most beloved seafood restaurants, Crabshakk in Finnieston.The Argyle Street spot played host to David Beckham in 2019, when he was on tour in Glasgow for his Haig Club whisky brand.Sam, who also has his own whisky in the form of the ever popular Sassenach, looked relaxed, according to passers-by.Sam, who owns property in Glasgow, was showing off his well toned arm muscles in a black fitted T-shirt.The 42-year-old star, from Drumfries-shire, appeared to have parked his motorbike outside - as he had the biking helmet on the seat beside him.The Outlander actor had told fans he was 'ready to relax' this weekend after recently working on a host of projects.As well as promoting his new book he's looking forward to Channel 4 drama Suspect and has been doing some new Outlander filming in between.
