Sam Faiers shares delight as baby Edward 'sleeps through the night for first time'
ok.co.ukIn the recent episode of The Sam and Billie Show podcast, Sam Faiers shared her excitement as she revealed that her son Edward has managed to sleep through the night, for the first time.The former TOWIE star, 32, told her sister Billie Shepherd, 33, the exciting news, as she announced: "Edward slept through the night for the first time last night.
We had not one wake-up in the night." As the sisters celebrated the milestone, Sam continued: "So on Tuesday I set myself a goal, 'right I'm doing it this time, by the weekend I want him sleeping through the night', so I've been quite consistent with it. "I haven't been doing the cry-it-out method, what I've been doing is I've been laying him in his cot and putting my hand on him and then waiting until he drifts off and then leaving the room." She added that the first couple of times she tried this he did wake up during the night, however, he did sleep the entire night ahead of recording the podcast.
Sam revealed that she was rather surprised when she woke up at about 6am, just half an hour before her alarm, and realised that Edward had actually slept through the night.
It comes after Sam spent a night away from the tot for the first time since welcoming him in May last year, as she, sister Billie, and their mum Suzie Wells jetted off on a weekend getaway to Paris.
