Sam Faiers has defended no longer sharing a bed with her “snoring” partner Paul Knightley. Speaking exclusively to OK!, Sam revealed that the pair haven’t shared a bed “for a long time” and have prioritised their growing family, which now includes Edward.
Son Edward was welcomed into the world on 13 May and is a sibling for Sam and Paul’s eldest children, Paul, four, and Rosie, six.
Opening up about co-sleeping with their children, Sam says of herself and former property developer Paul: “In our household, anything goes.
We sleep in whatever beds to make sure everyone gets a good night’s sleep. “Paul and I are so close anyway. We spend most of our days together and do everything together, but we don’t share a bed and we haven’t for a long time.” She goes on to admit that she prefers sleeping with her children because Paul keeps her awake with his snoring: “It’s funny because before Edward was born we had one night to ourselves where we shared a bed. “I was really tired and wanted to sleep, and he wanted the telly on late – he had some football catch-up on so the room was bright green – and he’s on his phone, then when he goes to sleep he’s snoring. “I was like, actually I much prefer sleeping with the kids!” Sam co-sleeps with her newborn Edward in the spare room of their family home in Cobham, Surrey.
